Donations instead of presents
Each Christmas Season many presents are sent; presents which always are made with the best intention. But many times they just end up in a drawer because they are redundant.
Therefore alesco decided to participate in „Spenden statt Präsente" (donations instead of presents). In 2006 and 2007 we financially supported the association „Sri Lanka Happy-Kids e.V." in the building of a new kindergarten. 50 children will find a place in the kindergarten „Little Friends", get a warm meal and lessons. Therewith alesco continues its commitment for the association. In 2005 already a property for the kindergarten could be acquired by the help of a donation.

In 2005 we contributed to „Spenden statt Präsente" UNICEF of the United Nations.The money was donated for the rebuilding of schools in African countries.
