Corporate Social Responsability
In these days, social responsibility is an important task which also has to be performed by companies. alesco gladly accepts this challenge. However, we not only mean the liability towards employees but also the corporate social responsibility. For this reason, alesco continuously is involved in selected aid-projects on the long run; regional and world-wide.
We support smaller local projects in and around our production sites as well as larger aid-projects on the long run. Two of them we would like to introduce to you on this page. We will go on supporting both of them for the future.
IN VIA e.V. - locally active in the reintegration into employment market
Socially handicapped people get a second chance in the employment -project of the Dürener Caritas-Vereins IN VIA e.V (http://www.invia-dn.de/). Target of the employment-project is the reintegration of homeless persons, released prisoners, mentally ill people or long-term unemployed persons into the employment market.
In 2006 we supported the employment-project with donations of materials of a value of € 7,500.00. A new van was needed to get the employees and material to the orderers. Furthermore, alesco donated 60,000 litres of flower soil which is needed for the diverse horticulture-orders.
