alesco - new name for SCHOELLER-ALDO

Since 1st October,2007 several things have changed: SCHOELLER-ALDO is alesco GmbH & Co. KG, now. SCHOELLER-ALDO is alesco, now. Only the branches packaging films and paper packaging operate under the new name - the moulding department will operate under the new name aldoplast as an independent subsidiary.

alesco does not mean any takeover, alesco is associated with continuity, reliability and high-quality-film- solutions for many applications. The former four managing directors Gunter Depiereux, Philipp Depiereux, Karl Heinz Thielen und Heinz Mundt will continue the business. Mr Mundt is the managing director of the wholly-owned subsidiary aldoplast, too.

SCHOELLER-ALDO decided the realignment to enable both parts of the company to put a stronger focus on their individual core competences and to emphasise the international orientation.

Bioplastics: alesco invests in sustainable packaging solutions

alesco is enlarging its product range by a new class of biodegradable film made of renewable raw materials. As a result we're one of the first producers of this new kind of film in Europe. The developement was carried out by a cooperation of the alesco product developement, granulate manufacturers and disposers. The result is a film with comparable attributes concerning brillance and printability - but still has its own distinctive character. This very own character is important for all customers at the point-of-sale and later on when disposing the film as it makes the it distinguishable from other conventional packaging film.
