Technology: Man and machine
When company founder Ewald Schoeller started the FILM extrusion, the people working at the extruders were relatively unfamiliar with terms such as "sensors" or "electronic controls". Granulates were still on the threshold of development. Now, 50 years later, all moulding machines, extrusion systems and printing systems are computerised, digitally monitored and serviced. Today, modern raw materials allow levels of FILM-quality which seemed to be impossible just a few years ago.
