„FROM NATURE FOR NATURE“ – that’s our guideline for the developement of all our compostable alesco bio-films made from renewable sources. alesco bio films can already be used as broschure films, fruit and vegetable bags, frozen food films or as our latest developement shrink film BIOSHRINK.
But this new generation of film is not only made from renewable raw materials and completely compostable. Our engineers also made the production process as eco-friendly as possible: As a result alesco bio-film is made of 100 percent green electricity, produced carbon-neutrally and on customer request printed with up to eight solvent-free water-based colours.
Therefore we selected a promotion figure for our new compostable multi-layer bio films based on renewable raw materials who supports the sustainability-idea of this new generation of films. But Elias not only is our promotion figure, he is our motivation to consequently follow this way: eco-friendly products and a healthy environment when Elias will have grown up.

These are the reasons for the new multi-layer bio film generation from alsesco:
1. The granules are made of renwable raw materials, such as cornstarch. This makes us more independent from the limited oil reserves of our planet.
2. The film is compostable. At the end of its product life it can eco-friendly and cost-efficiently be disposed via the compost bin of the consumer. "After a while the material entirely decomposes into water, carbon dioxide and biomass."
3. alesco produces this eco-friendly packaging as a multi-layer film. In terms of customer requirements its features fulfil brilliance, stability with a low film thickness, printability and flexibility. Therefore, the film can substitute many conventional packagings.
4. Various fields of application: wether as tailor-made bags or as semi-finished products, frozen food or brochure films - you can use our compostable multi-layer bio films as customisably as our other products.
5. Our bio films were certified by DIN CERTCO according to EN 13432 and are allowed to have the compostability logo.
6. In the manufacture of alesco bio-films we only adopt certified green electricity from renewable energy sources.
7. To make our alesco bio films more environmentally friendly, we print it on demand with solvent-free water-based paints. Usual brilliant colour quality with up to eight colours, thereby gentle to the environment.
