Bioplastics: Think of tomorrow today

Sustainability with packagings means more than just the avoidance of waste. We at alesco ask ourselves more questions in terms of sustainability:

• What parameters have to be implemented to offer a chance to excute the preliminaries and the downstream operations as sustainably eco-friendly as the production of our packaging products?
• Which impact do our products have on your environment?
• Which measures do we have to take to make the market accept new, eco-friendly products, so that they do not end up as "a good idea in a drawer".
• Which renewable raw material can replace our finite ressource oil?

These questions we can answer today: bio compatible and biodegradable films made from renewable raw materials from alesco. The framework we compiled together with the suppliers of the raw materials. The next eco-friendly step already begins with the processing of the granulate material into our biofilms: With the exclusive use of eco-power during the production we go for renewable energy sources and protect our continuously decreasing resources. Furthermore making us indepentent of oil. We developed a granulate material made of 100% renewable raw materials. And - together with professional dumping enterprises - we could proof that at the end of their product life the films are compostable. And for sparing the environment even more, we use on customer's request solvent-free water-based paints. This ensures minimal solvent remains, for clean air in our printing plants and the disposal of paint remains is also as environmentally friendly as possible.
